The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in the backdrop of the Covid 19 crisis on December 27, 2020 further extended the validity of documents like driving licenses, permits and registration that were to expire wef February 1, 2020, till March 31, 2021, i.e., for a total period of thirteen months. Previously extensions were given on March 30, 2020 till June 30, 2020; on June 9, 2020 till September 30, 2020; and on August till December 31, 2020.
So all driving licenses, permits and registration that were to expire wef February 1, 2020, will now remain valid till March 31, 2021,
